Dr. Cagri Ozkose-Biyik from Yasar University, Izmir, Turkey and Dr. Oner Uslu from Ege University, Izmir, Turkey have been working on an “individually-guided professional development activity scale” for the last two years. For the first round in the exploratory factor analysis, data from 820 English teachers have been collected across Turkey. Work is in progress regarding two publications that will come out about the scale development study. The questionnaire data coming from 820 teachers and the interview data coming from 28 teachers will also be used to identify the English teachers’ needs for innovative professional development programs.
